How do I send or schedule a mass alert?

If you are a Network Admin and would like to send or schedule a mass alert, log into your Wavely Dashboard and complete the following steps:

  • Go to your navigation side-bar.

  • Select "Mass Alert".

  • On this screen, you will see all sent and scheduled mass alerts.

  • If you would like to send a new mass alert, click on the "New Mass Alert" button in the top right of the screen.

  • Indicate whether you want to send the mass alert to all students, all responders, or both.

  • Type your message (can be no more than 130 characters).

  • You can either send the alert now or schedule the alert to be sent out at another time.

  • When sent, the mass alert will appear as a push notification on all mobile devices.

This is an ideal tool for emergency situations and/or important information that your entire network of students and responders need to be aware of.
